" His Last Day"
Last
November 26, 2016, everybody who lived in Sampoangon seems to be excited. They are busy preparing their foods for their
visitors or guests, from viand to dessert. One of the people who were excited
was the family of Anastacia because all of her sons will go or shall I say will
return to their hometown to experience the 2016 fiesta in which everybody
believe that this fiesta will be the most unforgettable to all. At the morning,
Anastacia wondered why her son Raymond was very clingy to her. His actions
shows that he will gonna miss her mom. That idea, was repeatedly occurring to
her mind, upon why? Where shall he go? She doesn't like that idea that's why
she composed her self, breath in and out to relax her self. Raymond, her son,
still following to his mother wherever she will go. Anastacia felt so happy
because in the very long time, today only that her son was so showy to her, he
always say that he loves his mother very much, and then suddenly Raymond will
hug her mother and kiss to her cheeks. When it is already afternoon, their
guests were now starting to come. Anastacia was now become busy socializing to
their guests as well as entertaining them so that they will not get bored. When
Anastacia got busy, Raymond don't want to seek for another attention again
because he don't want her mother to be angry with him. He goes out to the house
and in their mini plaza or I mean their backyard he saw his nephew running
along in the green grass along playing Tutty their dog.He run towards to his
nephew and started playing with him. His nephew got shocked because it's the
first time that his uncle play with him because his uncle said that he don't
like kids even if he will cry and beg in front of him just to play. They are
laughing and smiling like there is no ending. Suddenly, it started to rain.
They look to each other like they have an idea. They didn't bother to get
inside in the house instead they just stay in the backyard and they play under
the rain. When the rain stopped, his nephew was very tired and he needs to
rest.
When the eve
comes, Raymond search for his father to ask for permission to attend the annual
disco in their place. Thankfully, his father agreed and Raymond quickly dressed
up so that he could got to the party early. When he arrived to the place, he
regretted why he came because the place was so boring, the sounds was not loud
enough to enjoy that's why he decided to return home and just have a movie
marathon their. When he returned home, his mother wondered why his son came
early as what they expected even if she was confuse she never ask her son.
The day after,
Raymond's girlfriend call him in the phone, saying that she want Raymond to meet
up with her in the terminal. Raymond was not feeling well and his self was
telling him to not come but he loves his girlfriend very much and he can't
afford to lose the girl she love that's why using her motorcycle he drive
faster so that he could get their early. Without Raymond knowing, his cousin
with his girlfriend was following him because they have an appointment also in
the same place.
When it is almost
half of his destination, a shocking event happen. A dog pass across the road
and Raymond was not able to take a break in his driving. He bumped into the dog
and he felt that he was separated from his motorcycle and had been throw away.
He felt the pain all over his body, he don't wear a head gear the reason why
his head was injured.
His
cousin who was following him seems so shocked of what he witness a while ago.
He could not move a single bit and he just feel his tears flowing in to his
face. He quickly helped his cousin and his girlfriend search for any help.
When Raymond's girlfriend know what happen,
she went to the said hospital directly while crying. She blame herself of what
happen to his boyfriend. Sadly, Raymond was not able to survived and died after
without doing the operation.
Everybody were so sad and lonely. They could
not afford to lose Raymond but this is the reality they need to accept it
whether they like it or not.
